LCD Digital Picture Frames are symbol of new technology. There are many picture frames with video playback built-in. AKAI’s ADPF 10x LDC digital picture frame has playback of MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEF3 & MPEG4 with video codec’s on its screen. They are capable and less then stellar 640x 480 resolutions. It has no other video except MP3. From one side you will be able to unit it to get connectivity and storage. On the top unite Compact Flash port and then USB – the host port to directly connect USB pen drives. After that it has a mini USB – device port for connecting of frame to PC for getting access to video, music and sound files from the memory cards which are installed in the port of frame flash.
There is anther multi-use port which accepts Memory Stick, XD, SD and MMC memory cards. In the ADPF 10x picture frame 16GB SD card is more common in use. By moving the side of the frame you will see the manual controls. Up and down controls is available form top to bottom. The you can see the right and left controls and exit – enter buttons.
At the start this will take some time to power on and show the picture. It gives the quality photo image. With the move of remote control you can see the list of movies on the memory card. It has MP3 playback. Sound quality of this device is good.
There are may other LCD picture frames like 6.8 inch & 8 inch TFT LCD digital frame with motion sensor with activated display.
